COMPLIANCE Inc. - a tile collection, tableau building game

Compliance Inc.

You wake up to find that you were hired by Compliance Incorporated to help them build the most effective Compliance Machine ever designed in just 15 days. For that endeavor to
succeed they put at your disposal a factory complex, with 8 plants working 3 shifts to build all the components you need.

The Main Board - the factories

But that will not be an easy task! You only have 15 days and nights to complete your machine and a group of Fraudsters will be trying to reduce the amount of time you can dedicated to your challenge. Did I also mention you will be competing against other compliance machine builders?

Use your resources wisely to travel around the factory complex and collect the necessary components, and make sure to assemble those components in such a manner to optimize your machine as much as possible. If you succeed, you will be crowned the  Best Compliance Machine Builder award at the end of the fortnight.

Scoring Sheet
Learn about compliance and have fun. While playing you will realize that you will score more points if your Analytics component is close to the Top Management, because you want to keep them well informed. You will also see that you get a lot of points for having your Monitoring or Investigation components contacting your Analytics pieces, because that is what will feed them. The different components you have, their numbers and where you place them make a big difference at the end, and it will all teach you something about compliance programs.

Good luck!

Compliance Inc. is a tile laying/ tableau building game for 1 to 4 players (the solo game includes an A.I. opponent that requires minimal effort from the player) that plays in about 30 minutes and  simulates the building of a Compliance Program, represented in the game implementation by the Compliance Machine (you don’t need to be a compliance professional to play this game).

The game is played in a series of turns during which players will draft dice, use them to move around a factory complex, collect their machine components (which represent the elements of a compliance program) and organize those components in a grid that will score points based on a set of criteria that represent the quality of their compliance machine (the effectiveness of their compliance program).
